Blackberry phones

Blackberry started off in the market by the introduction of one of the first pagers in history. Those efficient yet simple devices gave blackberry the big break and then it started off with the first business friendly phones. With the passage of time blackberries became the icon of every business man on the planet.

The fast rim services provided by the blackberry made it possible for it to win the trust of capital customers. Blackberry has produced very efficient and simple designed phones from that on. Blackberries have an iconic QWERTY keypad with a track ball which was later replaced by the touch sensor. The blackberry phones lacked behind in the race of smartphones and started to lose customer attention until the launch of blackberry Smartphone

The new z10 does not have QWERTY but it does not have a keypad at all, it is the first blackberry touch based smartphone which has all what it takes to be the pioneer in the market. Z10 has its own blackberry market which is stacked up with all the amazing apps that one can even think of.

The new phone has the latest version of BBM which is kind of a leap forward towards the revival of BBM era. It should be noted here that due to some technicalities the BBM service was unable to remain that efficient as it used to be and it started losing fans rapidly. But thanks to the all new z10 the BBM’s fame is getting higher every day. This is something which amazed the world as well as the rest of the industry competitors of blackberry phones (Karachi).

HTC phones are great delight for the tech savvy people.

HTC Corporation is a Taiwanese based company that started in 1997 from forming mobiles and PDAs based on windows for mobiles. They jumped into mainstream with their phone at around 2006 when they launched their first phone running on windows 6 and it was a hit if nothing else, the s710. Names for the HTC phones are as crazy as the designs they host.

Like keyboards hid behind sliding/flipping screens or the whole concept of bent operational button area. The company had a reputation for their crazy side, so that’s why in the October of 2008 the T-Mobil G1 was launched with Google’s very first android a third party open source phone operating system. HTC has also been creating phones that act as pocket PCs since 2004 and were at the top of their game. Now a day HTC only produces windows and android phones.

With their award winning phone the HTC one which killed all sorts of competition in the market, the company has sprung back into lead. The phone has won several awards and the title for being editors’ choice in many a websites. Now the HTC one has a newer model, the HTC one max which is fundamentally an HTC one but with a bigger screen. The windows brother of HTC one is named HTC 8x and was soon followed by their latest HTC 8xt which is also giving much competition and receiving much praise against the lumnia series by Nokia. These two models have pulled the phone out of the hole once again after seeing 2 very years.

The latter models have perfected a lot of glitches present earlier but still there are many things that bother the users about HTC phones. Namely their camera and the price they charge for the phones when you can get a very good deal on phones with similar specs of other companies. All in all HTC mobile phones are a great delight for the tech savvy people.

Dell laptops in Karachi

Some are saying that 15-inch laptops are going the way of the dodo, but Apple's Mac Book and now Dell's XPS 15 are proving that bigger can mean even more beautiful. The XPS 15 is stylistically similar to the XPS 13, with a matte casing that's twinned with aluminum trim around the edges. It also features a roomy track pad and full-sized chiclet-style keyboard. It's the screen that really stands out though - an Ultra Sharp 15.6-inch Quad HD (QHD)+ touch 16:9 display that crams in 3200 x 1800 pixels.

We're well accustomed to Dell's impressive 16:10 Ultra Sharp desktop PC monitors, so we're not surprised that a laptop to bear the brand would serve up a similarly desirable visual feast. Dell XPS 13 is so far the slimmest and least heavy ultra book made by Dell. It is only 0.7 inches thick which is without doubt very slim and pretty much slim as compared to the previous utlra books. It has silver colored body which has a black finish when opened.

The elegant feature of this body is that its core is made out of aluminum and reinforced carbon adds up strength to the body. It also gives a smooth outlook to the eye. Despite its limited design one should not underestimate its capabilities. This 13 inch ultrabook has a lot of power under its hood because of the new generation has well processing unit combined with an Intel HD 4400.

Accompanied with this there is a storage capacity of 128 GB hard-drive or a 256 GB hard drive. In this small body there are two USB ports which support USB 3.0 and a display port to which any external display device can be attached. This port can also be used to get a display on a HDMI device. Dell XPS 13 laptops (Karachi) have a 1080 pixel display which also supports the capacitative touch input.

iPhones in Pakistan

The iPhones are touch screen smart phones which are developed by Apple Inc in the.  IPhone 4 is known as the fourth generation iPhone and successor to the older version of apple’s smartphone that is iPhone 3GS.

It is particularly marketed for video calling, consumption of media such as books and periodicals, movies, music, and games, and for general web and email access. It was announced on June 7, 2010, at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2010, held at the Moscone Center, San Francisco and was released on June 24, 2010, in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan.

The iPhone 4 runs Apple's iOS operating system, the same operating system as used on prior iPhones, the iPad, and the iPod Touch. It is mainly controlled by a user's fingertips on the multi-touch display, which is sensitive to fingertip contact. It originally shipped with iOS 4. The latest version available is iOS 7 (September 18, 2013).  The most noticeable difference between the iPhone 4 and its predecessors is the new design, which incorporates an uninsulated stainless steel frame that acts as the device's antenna. The internal components of the device are situated between two panels of chemically strengthened aluminosilicate glass.

It has an Apple A4 processor and 512 MB of DRAM, twice that of its predecessor and four times that of the original iPhone. Its 3.5-inch (89 mm) LED backlit liquid crystal display with a 960×640 pixel resolution is marketed as the "Retina display".

In October 2011, the iPhone 4S was announced, which retains the same form factor but includes upgrades such as the A5 processor, Siri, and an improved camera. iPhone 4 also ships with Apple's latest software, iOS 4. It brings features such as multitasking and folders, unified inbox and threaded email, and FaceTime video calling. Each of these come with limitations however, that while making them nearly effortless for new users to pick up, ensure power users will retain a level of frustration with the platform.

Mobile phones

Welcome to the age of mobile phones. A device by which you can connect and reach out your family and friends. This device which started off as a simple two way communication has now evolved to have a lot of diverse features. Either it is a camera, camcorder, radio or internet browser. In many countries, mobile phones are also being used for banking services. A person can check his account and make transactions on the go. According to strategy analytics, in 2012, Samsung surpassed Nokia and sold 93.5 million units which broke Nokia’s lead which was 82.7 million units. In current standings, Samsung is the top mobile phone vendor. Nokia coming at second while apple has successfully secured the third position. In the last decade the mobile phones have evolved a lot.

The first mobile phones that were introduced were bulky and they were difficult to carry around. Plus there operating procedure was too complex. But with the passage of time, the mobile phones have become sleek and slender. Mobile gadgets are mostly supplied with the device itself and they are use to charge the battery of mobile phone once it is depleted. These chargers may vary from company to company. But with the passage of time these chargers have become slim and slender and they take up less time to recharge a phone than their predecessors used to take. There is another kind of mobile phone chargers which are called the travel chargers. They can easily be plugged into the car’s cigarette lighter or can be used via any USB port available and they can recharge the depleted battery of your mobile device on the go. There is another variant of a charger which is called a power bank.

The power bank stores energy in its batteries when charged and then it uses that power to recharge the depleted battery of your cell phone whenever you require. The standard mobile phone buttons were replaced by QWERTY keypad at first and with the innovative introduction of capacitative and resistive touch screens the mobile phones don’t have any but one button to switch them on or off. With the appearance and changes in keypad, their operation has become more easy and user friendly. Now, even a child can learn to operate a mobile phone even in infancy. And with the addition of extra features like mobile apps, amazing high powered cameras and sensors the mobile phones have become not less than an evolving miracle of today’s world.

iPhone 4S looks identical to its older sibling bar the distinguishing birthmark of a brace of top-mounted incisions

The most powerful iPhone Apple has ever made, yet criticized by many as nothing but a cosmetic upgrade. So how different is it and, crucially, is it worth upgrading? We've been living with the iPhone 4S, iCloud and iOS 5 for a few days.
Out of the box, the iPhone 4S looks identical to its older sibling bar the distinguishing birthmark of a brace of top-mounted incisions signifying that a new antenna design lurks within. Switch on the phone, however, and things are different. Unless you're restoring the data from an older iTunes backup, the 4S doesn't require a computer for activation.
You can restore the phone from an iCloud account, or set up as a new phone. If you don't have an Apple ID, you have the option to create one. iCloud can also be activated from the phone for storing and wireless pushing photos, apps, contacts, calendars to and from your 4S. The whole process, whether restoring from iTunes or setting up fresh, takes less than five minutes. And because it's the same case design, iPhone 4 users can just swap over their SIM card. Many iPhone 4 owners will be asking themselves why they need an iPhone 4s when the free iOS 5 upgrade will equip their current phone with most of the new 200-odd features.

The new A5 dual-core processor makes things noticeably nippier. Apps launch quicker, web pages load faster, multi-tasking is more fluid and resource-hungry apps like Pages now allow you to edit documents without any lag. Competitors will argue that their phones have been able to produce similar results for months, and they'd be right, but it remains a welcome upgrade. Another benefit of having the A5 processor is to mirror 4S content over Airplay. Wireless, the 4s will push out 720p to an Apple TV. Over connected HDMI, that will jump to 1080p.

HTC desire HD: Amazing camera, Authentic sounds. Outstanding appearance

HTC desire HD is one of the earliest customized smart phones launched by the HTC. It is the biggest in its class with and outstanding 4 inches touch input screen. The additional added feature is its aluminum alloy body. This aluminum body doesn’t only add to the phone’s durability but also gives it sleek and clean looks that are otherwise not that much seen in other plastic body smart phones.

On the back side of phone there are two covers which cover two different compartments. One covers the battery compartment in order to keep the battery adjusted in place and the other is for the sim jack. HTC desire HD is equipped with the state of the art 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and geo tagging. Geo tagging works in a way that it automatically tags the photo corresponding to the location of phone.

In this way it is easy to find location related snaps in some applications like instagram. HTC desire HD is also equipped with 720p video recording. This feature helps the user capture the live moments of the life in a video quality which is as good as real life. HTC has launched many over the air updates for the HTC desired HD since its launch. Many of these updates were not made available at a same time. Rather they were made available from time to time in different regions of the world. These updates were available on a trial basis at first.

Another big news came up last year when HTC said that they will make the android 4.0 available for the HTC desire HD and to this news a lot of people showed a very genuinely good response. However, after a month a message was posted by HTC on their official website stating that they will not make the update available as it is too technical for the common phone users. Although many other customized ROMs are still available in market.

In the 21st century the internet devices has become the back bone of the global village

In the 21st century the internet devices has become the back bone of the global society. They keep you connected to the rest of the world and also the vast world of web information. Internet devices or routers are the devices that make the exchange of packet data between two computers or destination possible. It works like an envoy. The router gets all information from one device in the form of packet data.
Every packet data has the destination code which very well tells about the destination of the packet data. Once the packet data is received, the router forwards that information to the destination device if that device is connected to the ports of the router. Now, there are a lot of different types of routers available in the market, ones we use in the house or offices are simple routers and they are connected to maximum four devices at a time so it is not that complex for them to transmit the packet data efficiently and time saving. But in the case of big corporate companies and business enterprises the routers have to handle a lot of information in a little fraction of time because of which the routers send the information to the core routers which are actually fast routers connected to optical fibers.
These routers then transmit the packet data to the primary router at the destination which then transmits the data to the destination. In case of complex networks when more than two routers are involved the routers follow a internet protocol which in other words is the path which the packet data is going to choose in order to move along the network. This path is decided by the forward router which then transmits the data to access router. Once the data is in the access router, it already has the internet protocol data and it can be sent efficiently through the desired path. The selection of the internet protocol is based on the load on that internet protocol address and the shortest possible path to the destination. In the early times routers were connected via a LAN cable to the devices that are on the network but now-a-days the routers are connected via the Wi-Fi.

With the passage of time and remark able innovations the laptops became smaller and they got better performing components

Laptops are personal computers that are portable and smaller in size.   In general, laptops possess all the components as any other personal computer (home desktop computer) i.e. a mouse, a keyboard, a screen and a processor etc.

A basic difference between laptops and desktops is that laptops can be powered by the adaptors which are provided with the machine but in addition the laptops can be used away from the power source as well that is they can be used when they are not plugged in to an electricity outlet.

This mainly separated the laptops from the everyday use home desktop personal computers. In the beginning the laptops used to be rugged and very task specific so people thought of them as something very specific to special tasks or the personnel’s related to that task .

So they were limited to the commercial banking use or military use. But with the passage of time and remarkable innovations the laptops became smaller and they got better performing components.

Mini Laptops occupy less room making them easy to store or carry around

Mini laptop also known as the net book is a smaller form of the laptop. It is small in dimensions as well as it has low performance specifications which make them comparatively less performing than the usual laptops. Mini laptop or net books are popular amongst the businessmen and the students who need to be in touch with their PC related stuff while on the move.

Businessmen prefer net books because they can revise or edit their documents while on the move and that too without using a lot of space in the car as compared to an average laptop. Students usually use net books to surf the internet and also to edit and review their presentations or assignments on the move.
Because of having low end performing equipment, the net books are usually better energy consumers than the traditional laptops. Average battery powered life of a net book is almost 6.5 hours which is comparatively too high as compared to 3 hours of a laptop. Their small and compact body makes them perfect to slip into the college bag, seat pocket or even in the trouser pockets if they are big enough. They occupy less room making them easy to store or carry around.

As now a day’s most of the applications and soft ware’s are web-based so net books are fitted with a high end Wi-Fi router and receiver which makes browsing through the net book more effective and time saving because it takes a lot of time to even fire up a laptop. They are usually fitter with the Intel atom 3rd generation processors which are also famous as Intel mobile processors. Most of the net books come with windows which can either be XP or 7 starters.

Due to the recent recession, the market of net books has also boosted as the net books cost half the price of a normal desktop personal computer.

HP and Acer laptops are the choice of most of the people in Pakistan. Both laptops brands have their own distinctive features and pros and cons. Both brands have enjoyed healthy market share in the laptop business in the last few years and triggering the question in consumers, which brand is best? Answer depends upon convenience and expectations.  Let’s find which one is the right choice for you; HP or Acer?

Since last year, HP added a mobile version with Built in You Tube. Model specific pages provide ample information, opportunity of live chat and email. Acer made a team of experienced persons within the last year to answer the user’s questions via web. Facebook yielded successful results. However web chat gives incorrect response.
Acer laptop batteries tend to beat their competition again and again. Its back up time is about six hours. Eventually, with the frequent use, Acer battery will wear down but it does take a year before that occurs. It can be simple replaced. HP batteries tend to perform on average far less than their marketed endurance.
Acer laptops are little less expensive than the lowest priced HP notebooks. HP Envy is more expensive. HP has strongest resell value.
